During an ice storm my stove made this beep beep beep noise and the message E1 F2 was displayed. Haven't tried any controls yet, but sounds like the oven won't function.

Could be a sensor problem. I've just changed mine on my GE range. Cost is about 50$ for a new sensor (plus time if you cannot install it yourself).

Time to repair : about 20 minutes (2 screws inside the oven, 6 on the back panel. Remove the faulty sensor. Put the new one. Put the screws back... and voila!)...

Good luck!

Stove won't work. Stovetop burners are fine but

if this unit is equiped with a electronice control board then you need to check the power coming from the board to the ignitor.most cases replaceing this board will solve your problem

F2:E1 Code

F-2 is oven temp too high, which would be a bad thermostat or thermistor.potentially. It could be the oven control module (which is probably what the guy changed out already).
Here is the code for kitchen Aid:

F2 - E0
or
F2 - E1 Keypad not connected Check keypad connector for firm connection.

Whirlpool Gold Range Error code EO F2

On this website: http://www.repairclinic.com/0078.asp#Whirlpool , it shows all of the codes for the Whirlpool errors. Based on the remarks, if it shows a "4 digit failure code" it is "Shorted keypad"
"Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock (ERC)"

But verify this as I am not an appliance repair specialist. I am a computer nerd who just knows how to find information. I am actually trying to figure out an answer to my own problem with my Whirlpool Gold Accubake.

Hello fairglen,
welcome,

You said, model WHIRLPOOL WEP54800 Stove starts to beep at different times of the day. After four beeps F2 shows up and continues to beep when it feels it should. The control board has been checked twice and A new oven sensor installed. EVERY thing works perfect. This all started after water was brought to A boil on the back burner

But something is wrong!!??
Check your model number.
It is not showing up anywhere in the repair manuals or error codes.
Not even Canada.
What country did you buy it in?
How old is this range?

These are the only F2 codes I found in whirlpool so far!

F2 - Oven temperature sensor shorted = Replace oven temperature sensor

F2-Oven temperature above specifications = 8-pin connector oven temperature sensor to the Electronic Range Control (ERC)

Waiting your response or correction!!!!!!!!!!!

F2:E1

This has happens to us regularly. Today when it happened I unplugged the oven and let the it cool hoping that would help. It didn't. I did that several times over a couple of hours to no avail. When it powers up, there are a sequence of different readings on the screen before the error code comes up. In my final effort, just before the code F2:E1 appeared, and it read PF, I quickly turned on the oven and that interrupted the sequence. It is now working. Lucky. I hope this helps someone.
