GotoAssist - can't see mouse

When logged in to client I can see mouse when either I or the client has control but they cannot - any ideas? Tools are all enabled to show mouse.

Try pushing the alt button and any arrow key at the same time

Controll panel, Programs and Features, find the program and all of it's components and uninstall them...... start with the main program.

When i try to open my mail box it shows application not found


Do you have an e-mail client installed? If it was, then something told the operating system to disassociate e-mails from that application. If you don't have an e-mail client installed, then pick one (Outlook, Thunderbird, old Navigator, and many others) and install it. But make sure the operating system associates your e-mail files with your new client. In Windows, the icon should change to something like an envelope. MacOS has something similar.

In Windows, you have two options to reestablish the link between e-mail files and the client.
#1. place your mouse over the e-mail file, then press the right mouse button (or which ever is NOT the normal selection button). Look for a drop down menu option that says "Open with ..." which should show you a list of installed applications. Your e-mail client should be in that list. If not, then click the "Browse" button (lower left section), and find your original e-mail client program.
#2. Start your e-mail client (should still be in the START-->All menu (or sub) somewhere). It will probably ask if you want it to become the default for all e-mails. If not, go to Preferences (usually under Tools, but might be under Edit), and (usually) Advanced tab/listing, and find something that says "make XXX (program name) the default...", and then save the new setting.

SIGN ON/Log Off


Go to Internet Connections and right click on your internet connection icon. Click on Properties and then Networking. Uncheck Client Services for Netware.

For Fast User Switching go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services and disable Fast User Switching.

Logging on to server


You need to go into administrative tools and look for group policy.

In the local computer policy
Computer Configuration
Windows Settings > security settings > Local policies > user rights assignment. In the right hand pane find the policy for "Allow log on locally" Set the user accounts for those users which are allowed to log on interactively on the server. Be careful you dont lock the administrator account out.
Use in conjunction with the "Deny logon locally policy" if you need to.
