I checked with Samsung and they do not replace or provide service for 1 stuck pixel. Guess I will wait to see if more develop.

It sounds like a pixel is messed up. if its only two weeks old, then your best option would b to exchange it and get a new one

Where did you buy it? Most places give you 30days to return it.

OUR 52" rear projection tv is now unwatchable because of white pixels everywhere on the screen. Started with a few now thousands

it sounds like a lot of dust in the light engine lens.usually pixel defects are purple or black...question is your set a lcd or a dlp format? and how large are the dots. if real tiny it will be dust. if large it will be insects... have a qualified serviceman take a look.. good luck...

Had one last week and now there are 6. they are

Hi,

You get white spots inside the samsung DLP tv due to bad Digital Micromiror Device , or bad DMD board .

What is actually the problem is the DMV chip connected to this board . Inside this chip are 3 million tiny mirrors ,and when they physically get stuck , they either show black or white instead of a color
This is well know problem with SAMSUNG DLP...

The DMD chip is failing. If not under warranty expect to pay a few hundred to several hundred to get it fixed

The mirrors on the DLP chip are slowly sticking either fully open (white) or fully closed (black). The part that contains the DLP chip is the Light Engine. It is the most expensive part of the TV.Only the Samsung TVs has this issue.

Replacing the DLP chip and the micro mirror would solve this issue...

Pleaserate this solution,

White dots appearing on Samsung TV screen and multipling each day

It seems you might have an issue with the dmd board. Go to the menu, and if the dots still show on the menu, the issue definitely is with the dmd board but if they don't come up on the menu, the issue will be with the video board.

The fact that this is on all inputs suggests that teh screen is faulty, i would bring it back and get it replaced.
