How much power/wattage is your amp? What kind of car?

You may need to install a capacitor to harness some power to run the system, its ******* your cars electrical system.

Sony mex bt3000p sub outputs dead?

You can double check by measuring the voltage on the outputs playing a 60Hz test tone at full volume. You should get around 7-10 volts AC. I have a 60Hz tone .Mp3 link on my site - http://sparky3489.webs.com/settinggainampclass.htm

Volume goes up!

It is probably the Speed Compensation setting on the headunit. There is probably a setting for it in the audio/sound menu.

I had a 97 explorer came factory with a JBL system, and had a factory amplifier, I had to get rid of the factory amplifier and by pass it to get my new radio to work... my factory amp was in the very rear passenger under the plastic...... mine worked fine until I installed a new stereo (replaced stock one) and because my stereo didnt contain whatever it was to make the amplifier turn on, had to go bypass the amplifier and I unplugged everything I could find on it. Hope this may provide some clues if any

When I accelerate in my ford focus the stereo seems to increase in volume. I bought the focus second hand and just wondered if the last owner has set it up to do this or if it is a fault.

There is no problem with the radio. Quite a few ford radios can be set up so the volume increases as your speed increases to compensate for road noise.

Rewire your stereo cables as such:

Red- positive - battery
Black - ground - chassis
Remote (Yellow) - ignition switch

The "LINE OUT" should go to your SUB-WOOFER.

The while-lined wires paired with the solid colored wires are either your Front LR and/or Rear L/R.

When i turn my car on my cd player is full blast i cant find where to fix it

I want to know if you still can volume it down. If don't then your volume button sw for down was damaged. If still can, your cd player's memory is not functioning. Check the wiring of batt. memory back-up wire from the player, this must be connected to unswitch power supply. ( the power supply is always "ON")

Stereo volume goes up itself

Funny huh? Actually, some aftermarket radios like Pioneer have a setting where it senses cabin volume and ups the radio volume itself to overcome cabin noise. I doubt this is your problem and belive the unit is really "mental" and needs repair/replace...

it won't read it. It should be as simple as plugging the male end of the wire, 1 end into the psp, and the other male end into the aux input. select a song on the psp and press play. turn up volume to full volume on the psp (not on stereo) and the slowly turn up volume on stereo until its at your liking. if this works, let me know, if it doesnt, let me know.

stereo is detecting a short , or low load on speaker wire and or speakers .Go behind car stereo , disconnect all speakers and apply a known good speaker to one of four wires and see if volume works normally ..If it works use same speaker on all outputs one by one ..If all are okay then you should figure out what speaker and or wires are causing issue..Also make sure your ground is okay
