Re: no display or sound
Definitely looks like Poweer Supply problem. But as there is some display on the Front panel, It definitely is not the Power transformer. But it seems like some component in the Power Regulator circuit has either short-circuited, or has become open circuit. Nothing a layman can do.Seek professional advice.
BTW, you hav not mentioned if any of the operations are functional (Play, REW, FF, etc)

There are several amplifiers and boosters in the pillars. Start with that and move on from there. Sounds like something cutting out after it gets to warm. Make sure part no. for the radio is exactly for the one called for by vin.!!!
Hi, when a speaker does not work, you might need to do some troubleshooting tips to know exactly where the problem is .
First you will need to test the speaker cone if it's working properly by using an AA battery and two wires to make sure the cone is working..
Connect one of the wires to the Positive side of the speaker, and the other on the Negative side, And after that use the battery to hear if the speaker cone will make a click sound.
If it doesn't make a click, that means the speaker cone is Bad, you will need to replace the speaker cone, But if there is click from the speaker cone, that means the speaker is Ok, and you might need to trouble shoot your stereo to be sure if the sound IC chip is Ok in the stereo..
LCD will display which speakers are active. And this depends on 2 things: the source signal and decoder mode. If source signal is stereo, only front L+R speakers are used. For 5.1 signal (for example DVD over HDMI / optical/coax spdif) all speakers installed (which are not set to None) are used. To listen to stereo input signal using all speakers, switch decoder to enhancer mode.
for using FixYa. Please reset the TV by unplugging the power cord for more
than 4 hours and plug it back in. Now check that the sound is coming normally
from the set. You’ll need to also check these parts---Breakdown or overheating
of some components of amplifier, wiring, speakers, function settings, power
supply and sound detector inside the signal IC processors are fine. Go to the
on-screen-display and make sure you are set for stereo audio. Please check that
the on screen display is set up for internal speakers and stereo audio. Also,
check any other settings that may have gotten disturbed accidentally. Make sure
that all the settings are correct and that the internal switch on the back is
set right. Use headphones and check if you’re getting sound through them.
You’ll need to check that the issue is with the speakers, wiring or the
the issue is not resolved then check the audio chips are fine. If you’re
using RCA cables then switch to HDMI and vice-versa. Please do accept the
solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee
Sorry I don't have a solution, but the speakers have done the same with us. Power comes on, some sound like the wire shorting out, but otherwise no sound. Tried different connection wires, different computers (mac and pc) but no go on any of them. So, I also don't think it has anything to do with you deleting some files.
