Question about Creative Labs Zen V MP3 Player

Can't connect No matter what I try it keeps saying...... "Your player is not connected. Please connect your Zen V series to the computer" I don't know what else to try. Please help me.

    What have you tried? There is a reset procedure and then there is a Recovery Mode you can put your Zen into.....Please advise so I can help

If either one of these resets doesn’t work then I would send it back under the warranty...I will post a link to creative website that will give you 2 different ways to reset you Zen V MP3 player.... I think the second one is the one that will work for you....It’s called the Recovery Mode (Second Link)

My mp3 player will not come on or it won`t even charge. its like it don`t have life


I turned on my Zen MicroPhoto and it was frozen on one song so I restarted my zen.So I finally managed to get it into recovery mode. I cleaned it up, then I had no choice but to format it, and then I deleted the firmware because I had downloaded the new one and figured I could just put it into my mp3 player and it would work. But now no matter what I do, I can not get it out of recovery mode and the computer says it isn't connected even though the player's screen says it is. What do I do???

Zen MIcro Stuck and wont work or be recognized by computer


Hello,

Doesthe hard drive still spin? After powering it on, put it up to your earto listen. If there is no noise at all, or a smooth and steady spinningsound, that indicates your hard drive is fine and your motherboard hasfailed. If you hear clicking noises that keep repeating, this indicateshard drive failure.

When you try Format, does it say "Harddisk Problem?"

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

Firmware error on creative zen


Check your LAN settings by going to Internet Options, select "connections" then LAN settings, then check the box that says "automatically detect settings". Click okay, and that should fix your problem. You have that have those options enabled to let some common programs detect your internet connectivity.

lolz same bloody problem with both mine n mah sis's...
they should fix this **** fast...
or put a patch out or sumthing...

i installed
plugged it in n got jack for response
i reinstalled (many many times)
updated comp...
tried other devices (which worked excellently)
nuthin wrkz

have all teh requirementz 2

meh **** happens right?
we want a patch!!!!

Computer wont recognize mp3 player


Hmmm when you plug it in to put music on it do you use the sync manager thing? thats what i use and sometimes it says theres no player connected even though there is, so i just keep plugging and unplugging until it works.. but then if that doesnt work i just go to  "Zen v series media explorer" it like lets you upload music there too.. hope you find something that works!
