All the parts seem to be installed in the right place and the alarm light never goes out (solid on), and the water never comes out.

In my machine beans were added, water was filled up, the "press"-module was cleaned by having it under streaming clean water.
Powered off and on and when pressing the button for a cup of coffee, it makes a short sound as if it will crush the beans, but stopped with red light on.
Machine is approx. 7 months old.

Hi,

Make sure all part is on place, take out the watertank and put it back again, make sure the brewing unit is fit in place.

After all part is on place, put a container under the steampipe and open the steam knob to make a cup of water, when the water comes in a steady flow, then you can close the steam knob again.

Hope this will help you.

Best regards
/Mirran

Barista supremo thinks it doesn't have coffee beans

http://www.espressotec.com/media/downloads/57/SA1260_Odea_Giro_plus_manual.pdf The red light comes on, doesn't it? The light indicates that the water tank could be empty or the drip tray is full. Tell the coffee machine that it has enough beans, but to please the machine you will fill the water tank and empty the drip tray. Good luck, kolbrun

Try this remove the brew unit and clean the screen, the red light is saying that it cannot push water through.

Saeco Odea Giro highlights the "!" light and wont spurt water.

Try this open the steam knob for about 5 seconds then turn it to the rest(off) position, make sure that it is in the off position.

New Saeco Odeo Go has solid red exclamation mark, doesn't budge

You have to 'manually' prime the pump: When the red exclamation mark shows, press the water switch on the right side (the picture of the water drip), then open up the steam nozzle and let the machine pump hot water into a cup until the red light goes out.

Saeco Easy red light stays on

Hi,

Make sure the magnet in the water tank flow up when you fill the water tank. Look at the dregsbox and make sure you have a little pin that goes into the machine.

Saeca odea giro

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, i´m on sick-list and have limited access to computer.

To prime the machine you have to put a container under the steam pipe, open the steamknob on the top of the machine. Let the pump go to there is a steady flow of water then you can close the steam knob again.

I´m not sure if you done this already.
Let me know if i can help you more.

Red alarm light permanently on!

Hi.
First turnthe machine on.
Then take out everything watertank, dreg draw and brewingunit and have the door opened to the brewing area.

have them out for about 1 minute and then put it back together again.
if this dosent help please check if the machine respond to removing the dregdraw, beanlid.

It will do it by making the constant red ligth flash instead.

if they respond make sure that the watertank is filled to max.
if that is the case it is the watertank sensor that is broken.
