Follow these steps to install memory:
1 Turn off the computer, unplug the AC adapter (if connected) and remove
the battery pack. Then turn the computer over to access its base.
2 Remove the screws from the memory cover; then lift up and remove the
memory cover.
3 (a) Insert the memory module diagonally into the slot, then (b) gently press
it down until it clicks into place.
4 Replace the memory cover and secure it with the screw.
5 Reinstall the battery pack, and reconnect the AC adapter.
6 Turn on the computer.
The computer automatically detects and reconfigures the total memory size.

Not supporting ram of 2gb DDR3 in acer motherboard N15235

You first need to ensure you have memory that is compatible with the motherboard. If you have high density memory instead of low density that could be the problem because a limited number of motherboards recognise high density memory.

I suggest you check with the motherboard manual.

If you are certain you have compatible memory I suggest you clean the terminals of the chips and blow any dust from the receptacles and work the chips in and out of the receptacles several times, taking suitable precautions against static discharge at all times.
With the chips removed switch on the computer, wait for the beeps and then switch off and refit the chips.
If all is well the computer should recognise the memory and boot as normal.

I have an acer power f5 which canot accept a 1GB

Try the 1gb chip on its own. (with no other chips)
If it still does not work check your motherboard manual
Make sure that your memory is supported by your motherboard.
You will need to know the type and speed of the memory chip you have.

If the memory is a match and it still does not work it may just be stuffed. Did the memory work in another machine?

Hope this helps

One othe slots for memory is under your laptop, and the other one is under you keybord. The one under you can reach by loosing the screws to the hatch. The one under your keyboard you can reach by remove your keyboard, the screws to remove the keyboard is behinde your laptop, they are on the hinge.
Be VYRY VERY carefull when you removing the keyboard, its al plastic and very very easy to break. Loose the screws on the both hinge, pull the keyboard backwards and up.

Need bious password for acer 5315

To reset your BIOS you will need to remove both the battery and the BIOS battery, however unless the latter is easly accessed, I would recommend you seek a professionals help. having removed both batteries, the PC should be left for a few hours. then refit both batteries. If this does not work, then the password is "locked" into the bios chip. Your only option then is to contact the person who entered the password in the first place.
