My Ipod only works when connected to computer, once i disconnect immediately turns off. whats could be the problem?

When the IPod is connected to the computer, it also charges the battery.
Leave the IPod connected to the computer for several hours so it can charge the IPod's battery.
When you disconnect the IPod after several hours and it still turns off, then the IPod's battery is dead and needs to be replaced.

I pod is frozen in Synchronizing plugged in and out and back into

Have you already attempted to reset the iPod?
If not you will want to attempt that as your first step towards resolving this issue.
To do so you will need to simply press and hold both the center and menu buttons for at least ten seconds or until the apple icon appears on the screen.
If this does not resolve your issue please do let me know.
Also in the future if the iPod seems to be frozen on the do not disconnect screen, shut down the computer and reset the iPod before disconnecting it. Improper disconnection can cause hardware corruption.

I forgot the password to my screenlock on my gen 3 ipod how do I get it back?

1. Plug the iPod into the primary computer linked to that iPod, the first computer you synchronized it with unless you have designated another computer as the primary computer.
2. Open iTunes and sync the iPod as normal.
3. Remove the iPod, following the normal removal procedure. The iPod unlocks automatically as you remove it.

try this it should work :)

Cannot eject

The battery shouldn't take that long. Can you see if you have the newest firmware for your iPod? Sometimes when Apple releases a newer version of iTunes a firmware has to be applied to work with older iPods.

Click on the iPod icon in ITunes and check the settings tab in the larger window pan. Click the button Check for update.

You could always shutdown your computer and then disconnect the iPod. If the screen still says do not disconnect when the computer is off, hold down the play center buttons, untill it restarts.
