So you can play music files...so the sound system is working..das ist gut, as they say here in Germany...so, now there are some setting in the preferences under applications, where the browser will handle the types of files. if you need me to work on this remotely, send me an email to ib4g2008@yahoo.com

How do you know when you have finish download and how do you go back and see what you have download?

Hello,

If you are downloading files with Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu and click on 'Internet Options'.
Then select the 'Advanced' tab, scroll down and make sure the box next to 'Notify when downloads are complete' is checked. That way you will be notified when your downloaded files are completely downloaded. Internet Explorer always asks you where you want the downloaded file saved. But it is easy to not notice this step.

If the file you download is always run instead of saved that is a completely different issue.

If you are using Firefox to download your files then go to the tools menu and select 'Options'. On the 'General' tab you can select:

To always show the file download management dialog when ever downloading a file. Or to not show it. (The file download management window can always be opened by selecting 'Downloads' from the 'Tool' menu. )

You can also select a folder for Firefox to always use to store your downloads.

Or, you select to have Firefox to always ask you where to store each download as you begin downloading it.

As for as where your downloads are being stored. If your browser is asking you for a location when you begin the download it is easy if you are new to this process to not notice where the download is being saved to. If a 'Save File' type dialog appears just make sure you make note of where the file is about to be saved to.

If your browser is set to a specific location and the 'Save FIle' type dialog does not appear the most common locations are either to your Desktop or to 'Documents and Settings\Downloads'.

I recommend that you set you browser to ask you where to place downloads when the downloading process begins as outlined above.

Hope that helps.

My problem is how to download a song in a usb please cmplete instraction

I am assuming you are trying to download the song onto a USB Drive or USB Music Player so when you Download the song all operating systems are slightly different as are browsers so I am giving these instructions based on internet Explorer and Windows 7. Click to download then you will get a popup in the bottom of your internet window asking if you want to run or save or cancel. Next to the Save button is a small arrow click the arrow and move down the drop down list to SAVE AS and click on that a new windows browser window will open and you can sellect what to name the file you are downloading and where to save the file, on the left is a tree view of the files folders, ect on your PC if you scrol to and click on computer it will then list all the Main Drives ie: Hard drives cd/dvd rom drives and all removable media/Drives including your USB drive Click on that and click OPEN/SAVE if it was open then it will open and list anything already on that drive just click SAVE now to add your new file to the drive. Alternativly You can download onto your PC anywhere then open the File location and alongside that window in a new window open your USB drive to view the files Then just drag and drop or Copy and paste the desired files to the USB drive
Hope this Helps!!!

These days every programs have started explaining things by showing you a video clips which requires downloading through a software called adobe flash player. The process of downloading is quite time...

Adobe Flash Player is an add-on on browsers like Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. it plays a vital part in playing video clips as it is interpreting the video file to play on the browser. Also you can update to the latest version so that you will be able to watch video clips automatically. One thing that might be the cause of the slow download is your internet connection. You can ask assistance from your Internet Service Provider to check what is the speed of your Internet. You can get the latest Adobe Flash Player from Adobe.com and by clicking on the link on the right part of the page to download the latest version of Flash Player.

Mobile browser asked for driver disk and location of file in my computer

Are you trying to use a mobile browser on your desktop computer? If so, then I would just stick with a regular browser: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, & etc. Mobile browsers are intended to be used on mobile devices, such as blackberry and other mobile smart phone devices of a similar sort. The location of the file, if you previously installed the program\driver, would likely in in your Program Files.

Internet connection causes music files to hang music, itunes or cd will not playback without "hanging "while connected to the internet

You may have some memory issues. I would suggest upgrading your RAM. RAM decreases during playback of any type of media. If you are listening to music online, I would suggest upgrading your connection speed from your ISP.

Wont let me log on

What internet browser are you using and the version? For example Internet Explorer 6 or Mozilla Firefox 3. Internet Explorer is the "e" on your desktop.

Have you ever been able to successfully surf the internet on this computer?

If so, try clearing out your temporarly internet files and cookies. It depends on what browser you have on the computer for steps.

Internet Explorer: you would right click on the "e" on the desktop and left click on properties from the drop down menu. Then depending on what version you have....you would clear history, delete cookies and delete files...for example.

The other thing you might need to do is remove MSN Messenger from your startup folder so it doesn't even open anymore causing grief.
