Question about Liquid Video MVBG45 Portable DVD Player
The bottom half of he LCD screen is very dark even with brightness set to max. The top half looks okay. The audio is fine. When viewing the video using an external monitor the whole screen is fine on the external monitor. There is nothing wrong with the DVD.
Sounds like half your backlight is not functioning. The only thing I suggest is to call the manufacturer thats listed in your user manual and see what they think it will cost to repair unless its still in warrantee. There are no user serviceable parts inside of this unit so i dont think it would be a good Idea for you to attemt to take it apart as it may be a system to dissasembly and you make tear or break on of the small flex cables. Good luck
