Fridigaire front load washer

I did solve this problem. The hole where the water enters the fabric dispenser was clogged. I used a pipe cleaner and kept inserting it into the hole and pulling it out. Much gunk came out and the dispenser is working fine now.It was difficult to reach my hand in to insert the pipe cleqner but it worked,

The detergent dispenser is located above the detergent drawer.
A water pipe is connected to it and water enterence and distribution to drawer's cells (following the programmed cycle)are
done by a lever's movment (part of the dispenser). The lever movment is controlled by two solenoids that received their power from the timer.
By openning upper machine's cover you will have an access to the dispenser.
Dissconect the power cable from the machine before moving to next tests !!!!
Look first that they are not any disconnected wires.
Move manually dispenser's lever and see if water running to all cells (depend on your movment). In case it doesn't work properly remove the unit from the machine and try to clean it (I hope it will help, otherwise you should replace the unit).
In case it works properly (manually) - you should test by a multi-tester solenoid's resistance. the one that doesn't have a resistance measurement should be replaced.

There is a pipe under the front loader shaped like the piple under your sink....and it gets clogged up with lint, tissue, hair, etc. I just has my washer fixed...the smell from the water (I thought) was actually a build-up of all of the aforementioned, lint, tissue, etc. and my repairmain sold be a product called Affresh It is a tablet like the kind you use in dishwashers only bigger I copied the information for your use...This works
