Question about Dell 924 All-in-One InkJet Printer
My Dell 924 printer responds "printer is busy" and "Check control panel" when I submit a job for printing. I find nothing informative in the control panel. The "printer is busy" message occurs whether or not any queued jobs are shown for the 924 printer. This problem showed up just after I changed the color ink cartridge. What do I need to do?
Take out the cartridges
disconnect printer from computer
Turn off the printer
On the computer cancel documents in queue
if using a straight USB connection, delete all instances of printer. else remove duplicate printer icons.
Reconnect printer (swap cables if not detected)
Insert the cartriges
Try printing again
