How do i know if my bios is corrupt

I doubt that you have corrupt BIOS - the BIOS code is held in an EEPROM module which is unlikely to have been altered unless you have suffered some form of electrical failure such as a power surge or lightning strike.

If your computer does not boot nor show the initial boot messages from the BIOS such as memory count, device detection, USB devices or a HP splash screen, then you may have a more fundamental hardware problem.

To reset your BIOS configuration, you could just remove the CMOS battery - usually a CR2032 button cell fitted on the motherboard - for a couple of minutes then refit it again - this will set the BIOS configuration back to default and if the computer does boot, you should get an error message because the Date and Time need to be set again.
Note: make a note of the way the button cell battery is fitted and ensure you put it back in the same way.

My computer said "163 time

Date & Time are kept by RTC (Real Time Clock) CMOS Battery, which is usually a coin-cell battery on the motherboad.
As the RTC of your system is dead, it can not keep time.
Therefore, RTC (CMOS Battery) is required to be replaced with a new one to fix the issue.

Let me know if any further clarification is required. Hope this helps! Dont forget to rate the solution!!

Making a CMOS battery for Toshiba Satellite 2150

first I would recomend that you cut open the battery pack and copy what they did in the arrangement of the batteries if they are a series/ parallel combination without a spot welder a solid connection will be hard to accomplish. but lithium batteries will work your computer does not know the difference or care. if it is not up your allley, I would recomend taking the battery to a battery plus store they can build you a batery that will fit your laptop. They do a good job.

Dead ECS G733 laptop

Yes, try replacing the power button assembly first and the heatsink assembly and fan before shelling out big bucks on a Mobo (which is probably pulled from another LT).

Cmos battery

You'll need to gain access to the top of the mainboard, here's a good guide: http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/ToshibaM45/Satellite_M45_disassembly_1.htm In case you don't know, the cmos battery is a round, flat silver object, coin-like. Good luck!
