Hi harrty,

I think your Adobe Acrobat is corrupted, you may have to uninstall it from the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel or Programs and Features in the Control Panel in Vista. Then afterwards reinstall the application from the ADOBE website. The link is:

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html?promoid=BUIGO (this for Windows XP)

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_allversions.html (this is for Vista)

Most likely the problem will be resolved after doing this. Try it out first.

Hope this helps!

Peace! :)

Sigma cr 3000

Here is the link to the user manual for the Casio Sigma CR3000 Micro logger. ( Please Note that this user manual is in the PDF format and you will need adobe acrobat reader to view it you can down load acrobat reader at www.adobe.com then add your countries character at the end of the address) The link is provided below :

http://s.campbellsci.com/documents/us/manuals/cr3000.pdf

To save this to your computer it is very simple if you do not know already. Firstly wait for the whole document to load completely then once it has loaded right click on the screen and move your pointer down to Save As and left click, A window will appear and you can rename it anything you like as long as it has the .pdf extension at the end of it otherwise it will not be able to be read by acrobat reader until the .pdf extension has been added. I hope this helps.

Computer freezes up after loading personal settings . C.annot find start up module pops up. Acrobat reader pops up with folders on screen. If all these pop up and I close them then loading continues and...

It seems the acrobat application is creating these problems. Please use the system configuration utility to remove this application from startup.

Click on Start >Run (If you have Windows 7 then type msconfig in search)and then type msconfig. In the msconfig window, under the startup tab, look for any entry which says Adobe and uncheck it. Click on Apply and OK and restart the system. This should do the trick.

How to open the case for a memory upgrade

if you lay the pc down on its side, there are 2 buttons, 1 at each end that you press and then you can lift the lid up.
Here is the link from dell to your model, with pictures showing how you do it http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim4400/6J373a00.pdf

Its an acrobat file, so you will need a reader. You can use adobe acrobat reader, i use foxit reader, its smaller and loads quicker. Both are free

I keep getting messages ..could not find acrobat External windows handler; . brand is e machines ..error messages,,

Hi Kate1958. I found this for you. Do one or more of the following solutions:
Solution 1: Remove all versions of Acrobat or Reader, and then reinstall one version.
If multiple versions of Acrobat or Reader are installed on the system, remove all versions and then install only one version. See the documentation included with Windows for information about removing programs.
Note: If you need to have multiple versions of an Acrobat product installed, remove all versions and then reinstall them starting with the earliest, installing the latest version last.
Solution 2: Start Acrobat or Reader, and then open the PDF file in the web browser.
If an error occurs when you try to start Acrobat or Reader, refer to Related Documents below, or search the Adobe Support Knowledgebase:
-- If you use Acrobat, go to www.adobe.com/support/products/acrobat.html .
-- If you use Reader, go to www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.html .
Solution 3: Make sure that the External Window Handler file (ewh32.api) is in the Plug-ins folder.
If this file is missing, reinstall Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
The default location of the Plug-ins folder is:
-- For Acrobat: Program FilesAdobeAcrobat [version]Acrobat
-- For Reader: Program FilesAdobeAcrobat [version]Reader
Solution 4: Disable Web Browser Integration.
Disable Web Browser Integration so that PDF files open directly in Acrobat or Reader instead of in the web browser.
To disable Web Browser Integration in Acrobat 6.0.x -7.0.x or Reader 6.0.x -7.0.x:
1. Open Acrobat or Reader.
2. Choose Edit > Preferences > Internet.
3. Deselect Display PDF in Browser.
4. Click OK.
To disable Web Browser Integration in Acrobat 5.x or Acrobat Reader 5.x:
1. Open Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.
2. Choose Edit > Preferences > General.
3. Click Options in the list in the Preferences dialog box.
4. Deselect Display PDF in Browser.
5. Click OK.
To disable Web Browser Integration in Acrobat 4.x or Acrobat Reader 4.x:
1. Open Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.
2. Choose File > Preferences > General.
3. Deselect Web Browser Integration in the General Preferences dialog box.
4. Click OK.
I hope this helps. Please dont forget to rate and provide positive feedback for our fast-free support today. Thank you :D

I can download adobe reader but when trying to use or open,it says internal error

Hi Ferguson,

You will find the solution in the following link:

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404082.html

If that isn't correct, then you need to dump all of the Adobe Reader and Acrobat folders from

HD\Library\Application Support\Adobe
HD\Library\Preferences
Home\Library\Preferences

Also dump:
  • com.adobe.acrobat.pdfviewer.plist,
  • com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings.plist,
  • com.adobe.Reader_x86_9.0.plist,
  • com.adobe.Reader.plist, and
  • com.adobe.acrobat.90.sh.plist

wherever you find them in the HD\Library\Preferences or User\Library\Preferences folders.

Once you've done that, empty the trash, and install Reader 9.3.1.

Beleive me it will work, have a great day :)

My Dell Dimension 8200 PC keeps re booting itself once it gets to the home page. i cant even hit the start button cause it restarts itself that fast! please help

As soon as u see the black screen...hit F8 repeatedly to get it into Safe Mode.....then go to system restore and reboot/restore system back on a saved day. Then run your virus protection and scan for malware. This should get you back online. You may need a full system scan to locate the effected DLL's anmd killl off your intruder.
