Question about Sanyo DWM400 DVD Player
When watching a movie, the DVD 'freezes' about halfway through giving us a'freeze frame' effect. This happens every time with any dvd. We have never been able to watch an entire movie.
Sounds like theres an obstuction with the slider rail. This is the small metal bar that the laser assy rides on. Also check the drive system. It could be a gear to gear system or a belt to gear system. There could be also a cable blocking the laser from tracking. This is a hard call without seeing the unit But you have to remeber to unplug the unit before taking odff the top. Good Luck
