Check the power unit inside of your DVDplayer .
if ok finaly check or replace MPEG PCB Inside of your DVDplayer .

Can I recored a VCR to the DVD on this machine?without a TV?


yes, but I strongly suggest you use the screen (unless the recording is a 5 - 6 hour epic) where as you record the event and go to sleep and the devices shut off once finish.

I record sports events on my dvd recorder on slp 6 hrs and when i rewatch the screen goes blurry when the action starts


SLP is the lowest picture quality possible for a DVD recording. Due to the extreme compression used for this mode, fast motion and detail are lost. It's one of the costs of long playing time. Try the next recording speed faster?

DVR633H timer recording screen inaccessible


I had the same problem. Contacted Pioneer tech support, they had me send the machine in even though it was out of warranty; apparently a hard drive problem that they were researching. They sent it back with HDD replaced, worked again.

HDMI Input not recognized


With the power on, load a DVD and wait until it starts playing the movie. Press "Voutput" button - HDMI output (480, 720, 1080) will light upt and you should have video.
