How do I get a menue bar on internet explorer. Without menue bar I have ntools

In Internet Explorer navigate to whatever page you want to use as your home page. In this case it might be http://media.telstra.com.au/home.html

Then in the Menu Bar click on Tools, Internet Options, Use Current. Click OK. That's all :-)

To show the Menu Bar right Click on the very top part of your Internet Explorer window and then left Click on Menu Bar. Easy really.

if this is windows 7 go to start menu and type in the search bar "internet explorer" without quotes. once you find it right click on it and pin to task bar.

For Internet Explorer 6, launch internet explorer and go to menu bar-> tools-> Internet Options. In the first tab, you will get a text box in the top. Enter www.google.com there and press Ok button at the bottom of the window. You are done.

To launch internet options in internet explorer version 7 and version 8, the menu bar has to be shown. If you can see the menu bar, follow the same steps as mentioned above. If menu bar is not shown, let me know, I'll help you.

Are you using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox ?

Open Internet Explorer
Click on TOOLS option from menu bar on top ( or Ranch like icon on right side on tool bar )
Click on INTERNET OPTIONS
In the General Tab - Under Browsing History you will find - Delete Button.
Click on the button and click on Delete all button below.
put check mark on the option : Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons. and click Yes.
It will go thru the process of deleting the unwanted files and webpages and other data stored on your pc that is blocking the net access to browse.

Close the Internet Options and close Internet Explorer and try to open your website. Tt should work

For Firefox
Click on TOOLS ( from menu bar
Click on OPTIONS
Click on PRIVACY TAB on top
Choose the option - Clear all Current History.
Click OK and try to browse

Also Click on START button
Type " %temp% " and hit enter ( without " quotes " )
Select all the files shows in this folder and delete them.
These are temporary files and folders and you can delete them without causing any problem to your pc.


And also Click on START button
Type PREFETCH and hit OK button
Select all files and delete

EMPTY Recycle bin if you dont need all those deleted files.

This helps run your PC faster too

Try to launch yahoo and it should open. your issue should be resolved.

Try pressing the left Alt key alone. Does the menu bar appear?
Try right-clicking the area where the menu bar is supposed to be. Try different spots around the upper part of the window, eventually you should see in the context menu an option to turn on the menu bar.

"FILE, EDIT or VIEW" options on the top.

1. Open Internet Explorer, and make sure that it is running properly. If you receive any error messages upon opening it, your best bet is to reinstall Explorer rather than customize the options as new add-ons have likely caused serious problems. 2. Check to see that the menu bar is visible. If the menu bar is missing, you will have to make it reappear. Right-click anywhere below the "Title Bar" (the bar which shows the Internet Explorer icon and the name of the current website) and any other visible menu bars. Then be sure that the "Menu Bar" has a check mark beside it on the window that appears. Click "Menu Bar" if there is no check.
   
3. Click on "View" in the menu bar. Then click on "Toolbars" from that menu. This will bring up a list of available tool bars. To make the one you want appear, simply click its name, making sure that a check appears next to the name.
   
4. Restart Internet Explorer. Some toolbars will reappear immediately. Others require a restart. But restart the application anyway to make sure that your new preferences are saved.
5. Reinstall any extra toolbar applications if they do not appear in the Toolbar menu.

Try Restoring Your Settings.
Once the internet is open, you will then want to go to the "Tools" Menu, in the internet window. If you are using internet explorer 7 the tools menu is on what is called the Menu bar, and this menu bar generally is in the upper left hand corner.

Once you click the Tools Menu, then select, internet options then click on internet options to go into the internetoptions dialog box.

Once you have selected the internet options click on the advanced taball the way to the right. Once you have selected,advanced at the bottom right there is an option there to RESET, thiswill restore the default settings, of your internet explorer Browser

Then Close And Reopen Internet Explorer
