The pc was all running fine last week with xp on it, Apparently it was taken apart to be cleaned and now there is no display.

I think power supply is fine as light is showing on Motherboard and boots up and all fans run just nothing on display.

I have checked Graphics card and ram is seated ok.

Dont know what it could be now.??

These are few checks to carryout one after the other for troubleshooting purpose

1. The first thing check the power supply out with multimeter to make sure the power supply is outputting the required voltage especially to the motherboard otherwise it wont work.

2. If everything checks out continue to ensure that you are connect the power supply to the motherboard correctly.

3. Again, if the problems continues ensure that the the monitor is connected firmly to the motherboard, via whatever means it being connected.

4. Ensure that the cache battery on the motherboard is good again using a multimeter.

5. Secure some memory you know are working and place them within the motherboard and get it a try. Or, place the memory you are using within the working PC to see if they are working. Keep in mind that the memory modules should be compatiable, i.e. PC100 memory module within a motherboard tha use such memory.

I have asus MB P5PE-VM in ,y computer. After using it for sometime it there was no more video display. the monitor indicate no signal. No beep sound. only the hard drive indicate that it is busy due to...

Have you tried another monitor? Have you tried reinstallng the videodriver?
If none of that works your model has an AGP 8 video card slot(Advanced Graphics Port). Purchase a AGP card and it wil come with the driver. Turn off the "onboard graphics: in the BIOS setup screen and you off and running again.

Asus link is to *********** board.
