The manual isn't going to help you much as the music volume is from the music device attached to the cabinet. Walk over to it and turn it down.

How did you fix the volume? Did you turn it down? Did you need me to come there and do it for you for a Higher than TFT rating?

The solution I posted is a FixYa, because there is no other adjustment for MOH than the source, yet you give me a poor rating.....It gives me the encouragement I need to keep banging my head against a wall.

How to I turn the universal volume on a Norton Networks T7316E Phone?

Have you tried to call the phone and adjust the volume on the set while the call is coming in? I think the only way you can adjust the ringer volume is if the phone is ringing.

HOW DO I CHANGE HOLD RINGING MUSIC?

The music is external to the phone system. In the back room or a closet somewhere, there's a dark blue and black cabinet that has a port that's marked MOH. It will go to some kind of box or computer that supplies the music. It may have a model or phone number on it. You change the music by buying or recording new MP3 files to play.

Meridian 7310 phone - any way to turn up volume on hold music???

Music on hold comes from an external box attached to the system cabinet. It should have a volume control on that box.

Need to activate Music on hold mode

The newer model RCA phone will do music on hold. There is a jack on the back of each phone, you plug a cd player or MOH device into it and it will play on ALL of the phones(not just that one).

Hold music

I'm not sure what you currently have for music on hold but regardless this is a feature of the phone system, not the phone. You may have a built in tune or tone, or you could have an external music source connected to the phone system. First you need to know which type of Panasonic phone system you have and where it is located. The system part number should start with "KX-T" and unfortunately, knowing the part number of your phone does not help.

Innovage Corder Phone

My phone model number 18924 gives me a four beats of sound when I use my cordless phone connected to the same telephone line. When using the innovage phone, the sound is not there. Is this because I may have the wrong settings? If so, what is the correct setting? If not, please suggest what to do.

Change background music when hold button is pushed

Your system will have an input for music. You may have something attached already and so that would need to be changed to what you want. OR you may be using a built-in internal tune. Usually connecting an external source will over-ride any internal music automatically but it may need to be changed in programming. If you connect a new external music system, you can use just about any music device with the right cable. Just make sure it is line-level input (low volume - not amplified) or you can break the music circuit.

Phone ringer

You can download the manual for a very similar phone, the KX-TG2302 at http://service.us.panasonic.com/OperMan/findmanual.aspx?cat=TEL and you can figure out all the features of a KX-TG2303. The simple answer is: while you are not using the phone, press the up or down volume button and it should turn the ringer back on. To turn the ringer back off, press and hold the down volume button until you hear two beeps. You can adjust the volume while the phone is ringing. The manual will tell you how to change your ringer tones, etc.
