I would like more details, such as; What OS, how is Windows telling you this, what is it telling you exactly, the name of the program that tries to load without you asking it to.

I already suspect that you are infected with a trojan horse program, it might be called various names.
One of the more common ones is Antivirus XP 2008. This is a fake program, they only want to get your credit info. Don't give them anything, if you already have, cancel it.

The other symptoms are; that you cannot open the control panel, change your screen background, go to Microsoft Update, as well as many other places.

The following is a trusted link to advise and help.

I help how to remove trojan/other virus from my window 7 laptop.please help me.

Here's a fee-based service to do it for you:

http://us.norton.com/nortonlive/

To detect the threat level, you may want to try the free (& advertised on TV) web site
www.MySafePC.com, but virus removal will cost $$ - they're happy to tell you you're infected for
free, though.

Here's Symantec's list of things to do:

If you suspect that your computer is infected with a threat or you receive a threat alert, and you want to make sure that your computer is secure.

You can perform a virus scan to eliminate any known threat from your computer. Scanning your computer for threats is easy if you follow the step-by-step instructions provided in this article. The scanning process may take an hour or more, depending on the number of files you have on your computer.

To detect and remove all the threats from your computer, follow these five steps:

• Install the latest virus definitions.

• Stop all running programs and temporarily disconnect the computer from any network.

• Run the virus scan.

• Install the latest Windows updates.

• Run a full system scan once again to ensure that there are no threats.

The first step is to check whether you can install the latest virus definitions, as some threats may block your access to all the security products' Web sites including Symantec's Web site. The subsequent steps vary depending on whether you can download the latest definitions from the Symantec Web site or not.

Sshnas21.dll is not installed

Use the following instructions to remove sshnas.dll (sshnas21.dll) trojan and other components of trojan FakeAlert

Step 1.

Please download OTM by OldTimer
http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTM.exe and save it to desktop.

Run OTM. Copy, then paste the following text in "Paste Instructions for Items to be Moved" window (under the yellow bar):

:services
SSHNAS

:reg
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"Videohost"=-
"SSHNAS"=-
"LosAlamos"=-
"Halo2"=-

:files
%windir%\msa.exe
%windir%\system32\sshnas.dll
%windir%\system32\sshnas21.dll
%windir%\Tasks\{66BA574B-1E11-49b8-909C-8CC9E0E8E015}.job
%windir%\Tasks\{35DC3473-A719-4d14-B7C1-FD326CA84A0C}.job

:Commands
[emptytemp]
[Reboot]

Click the red Moveit! button. When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

Step 2.

Download MalwareBytes Anti-malware (MBAM)

http://en.kioskea.net/download/download-105-malwarebytes-anti-malware

Once downloaded, close all programs and windows on your computer.

Double-click on the icon on your desktop named mbam-setup.exe. This will start the installation of MalwareBytes Anti-malware onto your computer. When the installation begins, keep following the prompts in order to continue with the installation process. Do not make any changes to default settings and when the program has finished installing, make sure a checkmark is placed next to "Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" and Launch "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware". Then click Finish.

MalwareBytes Anti-malware will now automatically start and you will see a message stating that you should update the program before performing a scan. If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

As MalwareBytes Anti-malware will automatically update itself after the install, you can press the OK button to close that box and you will now be at the main menu. You will see window similar to the one below.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Window
Make sure the "Perform quick scan" option is selected and then click on the Scan button to start scanning your computer. This procedure can take some time, so please be patient.

When the scan is finished a message box will appear that it has completed scanning successfully. Click OK. Now click "Show Results". You will see a list of infected items similar as shown below.
Note: list of infected items may be different than what is shown in the image below.

Malwarebytes Anti-malware, list of infected items
Make sure all entries have a checkmark at their far left and click "Remove Selected" button. MalwareBytes Anti-malware will now remove all of associated Trojan FakeAlert files and registry keys and add them to the programs' quarantine. When MalwareBytes Anti-malware has finished removing the infection, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.

Why will Norton not get rid of Trojan spyware on my computer?

Check if the Norton version you have is both Antivirus and AntiSpyware. Also how do you know its not getting rid of the spywares? Do you see any errors.

Please rate if helpful.

Thanks

Your system is infected by trojan,

Scan your System with a good Anti-Virus like Kaspersky Internet security 2010 or A-Squared Anti-malware with lastest updates installed.Both can detect trojan as well as malware,spyware etc.

This will solve your problem.

3. Reboot your system in Safe Mode

how to edit registry

Delete this entry :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run \"Advanced DHTML Enable" = "[PATH OF TROJAN EXECUTABLE]"
