OUrs did the same, it was a tiny spring that needed replacing. We just turned off at mains, unscrewed front and took out the unit. Took broken spring out and found one at our local DIY shop. fitted and put back in. ALOT cheaper than replacing the unit!

Deactivate childlock on fully integrated neff dishwasher

If door won't close and you don't have a child-lock, just push the door closed a lot harder than you normally would - NEFF manual says to do that, and it worked for me! I think it just forces it to engage and 'releases' the catch, as after that it closed with just normal pressure applied.

I have a hotpoint aquarius dishwasher. although the door shuts it will not lock. Sometimes the door will almost shut but the lock seems to jam. Thanks Jim

Possible that this is a mechanical fault. So you might have to remove and clean the lock with a de-greasing spray and close the door few times as you oil it. this might solve the issue.

I have a problem with my hotpoint fdw60 dishwasher. The door won'

I think you can fix this yourself if you can see the latch itself. There should be some screws at or near the latch that can be removed. this would allow you to physically get to the latch and check it out. It may be that the latch is broken or loose OR it may be where the latches "catches" that could be the problem also. You are probably looking at an hour's work.

Fault with Hotpoint BCI45 Dishwasher

This a generic problem with hotpoint dishwashers..
Water is present in the flood catching tray at the bottom which usually indicates that there is a leak somewhere. More often than not this is just a pipe with a poor fitting and simply tightening the clip is enough to stop the leak. Our machine had a very slow leak from one pipe (not enough to trigger the alarm) which was fixed in this way. The leak is detected by a small float switch located in the flood catch tray.

Undo 4 screws on the metal plate under the dishwasher 3 at the front 1 at the back, this reveals The pump check the seals are in place on the waste pump.
