I just bought a use Monitor 2400,it will run and then start to beep,has E 14 on it, What does that mean? Don't have the manual for it.
e13 or 14- in coldest weather mine was out 3 days- I checked all combustion ring, inside all things- found a manual online- and it was a small slit in a plastic cuff coming up inside- a tiny slit no bigger than anything- thought mine was heat clog etc too etc - was off 3 days

Next time you try to start the unit listen to the pump on the lower right side of the unit. Just before the E13 message if you hear a thumping noise, you have a fuel problem. If you don't hear a thumping and there is a flame you have a problem with the inside of the burner. I would say since it's a 2400 you have a fuel problem. Low fuel, no fuel, dirty filter or blocked flue pipe.

Drain the air out of the supply line at the bulk tank shutoff valve; there should be a small hex plug for doing this. On the bottom right hand side of the heater is a round hole that allows access to a finger pump for the fuel; press this three times slowly. Heater should start!
