Tv goes off by it self i turn it back on goes about another 20 mins goes back off

It might also be a bad solder connection, short of checking voltages what I have done in this type of situation is with back off use a small fairly high speed fan - a hair dryer set to cool works, to cool areas of the boards inside to localize which board is causing this, with the set in failure, got it? it goes out cool it with a handheld hair dryer with air set to cool, when you find the spot where the problem is it will either instantly come back or try to.

Do it a few times to confirm which board is bad and locate a replacement board and swap it out.

my 32in tv some time turns on and some time not, the blue stad bhy light is on. when we do get it on yhe tv only stays on for 20 min and then goes off . please help

It sounds that the power supply regulator section shuts down intermittently. There are so many reasons for this fault. Seek tech support.

usually is an issue with the power supply or power inverter for the tv. basically one of the capacators is not holding a charge like it should and is causing the power to drop. contact a repair technition or begin looking for a new tv.

try unplugging the tv from all imputs and power and let set over night then plug everything back in.

Check for a loose wall outlet. try plugging it somwhere else. that happens to me many times. it is not your tv.

Rear projection hdtv, most likely damaged tubes. Don't repair this by your self get a tv repair man to do it before you injure your self.

This sounds like a power supply problem possibly a bad capacitor
