Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) Important Info

When you get a Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) on your computer this can be very frustrating. Below is the info you need to get from a BSOD because the way that Microsoft words the message a lot of people miss the real important parts. With the right information this will helps tech support help you address your problem quickly.

The first thing to look at is the error message. A lot of times you will get a message like the one below that states "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA". In the case of this BSOD the error screen the error code is a generic one of 0x00000050 so we have to rely on message that tells us that the problem was with the memory or the page file.

The next thing to look at is the error code. Note you really do not need the info between the parentheses for standard trouble shooting.

So with both pieces info this will help tech support figure out where the issue is at and where to troubleshoot.

Note the file name that the BSOD list normally is not important in troubleshooting the in most cases it just point to the point where Windows had the problem.

-first need to check on the BIOS if the DVD or CD drive is present
-to do this turn on the computer then press F2 to load to bios the look for drive details usually its llisted as optical drive if theres any name then its being detected
-restart the computer normally again check if the oiptical drive is listed under my computer

-start > run > regedit > HKLM > System > Current Control Set > Control > Class > {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Code 19/ its not reading only ejects when comanded manually. Cd DVD problem

try reseating the connections from the motherboard to the disc drive. if it wont work try to uninstall and then reinstall it from the device manager by restarting it (but check f it is being detected in the device manager). if still not running properly a firmware update for the drive will possibly resolve the issue. you can also try running diagnostics on the drive and checking on BIOS if it is being detected. if any of the mentioned solutions won't work, then a optical drive replacement will be the best resolution.

My OptiPlex GX60 is not recognizing its hard drive? Several weeks ago had to restore with install CD. On a restart, wouldn't load, report said no hard drive.

Most likely it is a Hard disk drive failure

Reseat the cable connections, see if the drive is detected, if not, replace the drive

I have a emachine laptop and it wont load cds, dvds or games whats wrong with ut and how can i fix it

you have to verify if your DVD rom is detected in bios. Restart your computer and press F2 during boot. check if you see the DVD Drive is detected. if yes, exit and boot to windows if no.. your DVD is not detected and might be a motherboard issue or your drive needs to be replaced.
you can also try to clean your DVD lens with cotton or use a DVD lens cleaner

I suggest you to remove printer connection from the pc Restart the computer and then connect the printer if it detects the printer continue with the steps of Found New Hardware( insert the printer cd into the drive and continue with the installation
if it is not detected then Start--->Control panel ----->printers and Faxes and delete any printer icons in same dailogue box click file menu File-->server properties---> in this dailogue box choose drivers tab select the drivers if any and click on the remove button (remove all the Drivers)
and then restart the printer the printer will be detected
if assume that you know the installation of printer
if not --->control panel--->printer and faxes----> Add printer option

Hello,

ok..enter to the bios setup and then find "load bios setup default" and then save and restart the system.

If won't help then, verify if the hard drive is detected..if don't know how to detect hard drive, go to bios set up and find hard disk if detected. if not hard disk found then ..consult your vendor for immediate support.
