Question about Sony Ericsson P900
My SE P910i keeps rejecting my sim card, "wrong sim card" message pop up on the screen everytime i turn it on. I have tried to update the firmware by using SE update service (from SE official site) but it fails to update. The phone has been unlocked twice by both hardware - superclip2 and software - Total Multiserver but still displaying wrong sim card message. I have had tried 3 other different sim cards and unfortunately no luck at all. Please help if you know the solution, if i can get the firmware updated, that might help but i dunno why it cant get updated... Thanks in advance
I don't have a solution, but my P910i did this immediately AFTER I did the firmware upgrade. The local repair shop refuses to look at it as the tag and internal IMEI numbers are different. I suspect it was repaired before and the tag not changed. I am still working on it and will let you know. But its xmas and Australia rolls up the sidewalks shuts off the streetlights and stops.
