Question about Samsung SP-S4223 42 in. Plasma EDTV
We have a 42 inch samsung sp-s4223 that when you turn it on it has a black blob in middle and flashes white background and no sound.
This type of repair might not be a DIY since requires the use of a multimeter to check all the voltages from the power supply to all the circuitry in your plasma.
First step should be to measure all the voltages to the Y and X sustainer boards and since you do not have audio as well to check the 12 volts source as well.
If your plasma is less then a year old, still cover under manufacturers warranty.
