Question about Ulead VideoStudio 9

Says insert blank disc and the disc is blank!!

So i finished editing and want to burn my video to a disc. I insert a blank disc and it says ¨disc is used, please insert a blank disc¨. But the disc that I put in IS BLANK, brand new!
I cant find any troubleshooting in the programs that tells me how to resolve this. I know with Apple iVideo you must have twice the memory space on your hard disc than the size of the project. I wonderif this is also the case with Ulead?

I am having a problem burning to Blu-ray format, my project settings are HD 1920x 1080 50i 48kHz/8ch and when I go to disc burn it tells me it is 720x576 8.0 Mbps 2.9 Gbytes (output only to DVD)

i would suggest check first if inserted disk is bluray or dvd.

if disks are bluray - deleter previous settings, or even offending program and start from the beginig - from experience - faster and cheaper than finding the error in settings...

Burning youtube videos to dvd without errors

Use a burning software like Nero. It is great and shall provide you the facility of easily burning as many videos as your disc can hold.

Also, if you are on windows, after downloading the videos, insert a DVD in your Burner and then simply copy paste the videos on the DVD disc. Paste as many you want to i.e. as many allowed with in the space of disc and then right click anywhere on an empty area and select BURN DISC.

I have had to replace my hard drive on my pc how can i get my music back on to pc from my ipod and back into i tunes

Backing up your iTunes library to a CD or DVD To burn a CD (CD-R or CD-RW), your computer must have a compatible CD burner. To burn a DVD (DVD-R or DVD-RW), your computer must have a compatible DVD burner. Check in iTunes Preferences to see if a drive is compatible. See below for steps.
To create your backup disc
  1. Choose File > Library > Back up to Disc.
  2. Select the option you want from the resulting dialog and click Back Up.
  3. The two options you can select from are:
    • Back up entire iTunes library and playlists
    • Back up only iTunes Store purchases
Whichever of these two options you choose, note that you can also choose "Only back up items added or changed since last backup" to perform an incremental backup.
  4. Insert a blank disc (CD or DVD) into your computer's optical drive. iTunes will scan the disc and begin burning.
  5. Note: If the disc you insert does not have enough space to hold all of the content you will be backing up, a dialog will appear asking whether you wish to backup to multiple discs. You can click Data Discs to continue.
iTunes burns the number of items that fit on one disc and then asks you to insert subsequent discs to continue burning the remaining files. Don't eject a disc while a backup is in progress.
Spoken programs purchased from the Audible.com website are not backed up.
Discs you create using the iTunes backup feature can be used only to restore; they can't be played in a CD or DVD player.

Restoring from a backup disc
  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Insert your backup disc.
  3. iTunes will ask whether you want to restore from this disc. Click Restore.
Check drive compatibility
  1. Choose a playlist on the left side of the iTunes window.
  2. Click the Burn Disc button on the bottom right corner of iTunes.
  3. If the drive is listed, it's compatible.

When it comes time for me to copy my dvd...it prompts me to insert a blank dvd-r...i insert a blank dvd-r and it kicks the disc back out telling me to insert a blank dvd-r. Do i have to do something...

This is a common problem. RW DVD are different types. You need to read what type of RW DVD you need there will be either a nimber, leter or symbol at the end of where it says RW DVD or DVD RW and you CANNOT use just any disc.
