Marshall Stanmore speaker plays music and then abruptly cuts out and deliver very harsh very high-pitch sounding music. It does this no matter if I'm playing music via bluetooth, AUX, or RCA.

You can't unless you have the tools, knowledge and equipment to find a surface mount component and isolate the failed part and then replace it. Take it to the dealer or manufacturer for resolution.

Eliminator powerbox 600w.when I plug in my music player all I get is a high pitched noise? Why? Does it need recharge? Hardly used it.

a high pitch noise is normally audio feed back ( like putting a mic in from of a speaker). Take it to ma specialist audio repairer to find the problem.

When I play a cd the sound is great but when I listen to music on the radio (FM) it sounds terrible. I have adusted all of the knobs but nothing helps. It sounds to high pitched.

Hi, when you turn on the rear audio button, in the back of the center console, the rear speakers turn off, to enable headphone use in the rear. perhaps this is the issue. Good luck...Coop

BR-1180 freezing & high-pitch ring

Check your power supply to the unit. Low voltage COULD cause this.

Also make sure a setting is not "looping" the audio back into itself.

Ambient sound is louder than the music

Hi,
I have a Mac (OS X 10.5.7) and had the same problem with the Ion TTUSB system picking up room noise. This seemed to fix it:
In System Preference, under Hardware, choose "Sound".
Choose "Input".
Under "Choose a device for sound input" choose USB Audio CODEC  type: USB

I hope this helps,
Cheers!

Tracks playing at the wrong pitch and speed

This sounds like a difference in the sampling frequency.  Music recorded at 48Khz must be played back at that frequency or there will be a significant difference in speed and pitch during playback at 44.1Khz. I first noticed this when it occurred to me when recording on digital audio tape.  Ipods and minidiscs and mp3 recorders can record at high sampling frequencies like 48K.  Cds are all recorded at the standard 44.1K sampling frequency.   Check the source of your recordings and it should follow a pattern that leads to your current results.       I do not have enough information  on how your music was transferred to tell you more at this time, but I am very confident that differences in sampling frequencies of your source material are causing the pitch differences you are hearing.   Without knowing exactly the sampling frequencies of each piece of equipment you used to record these songs it will be next to impossible to give you a very specific solution, so I hope the info. I have shared helps you to figure it out.  Best regards and good luck!   Michael Mittelsdorf
