There are 6 screws, 4 at the side and to at the rear panel. After removing theses screws you can take of the lid.
Next to the transformator there are two glass fuses. The 500mA fuse is obviously broken, so just replace it and the power is bach up.

Denon CD not switching on

The lightening causes a strong electro magnetic field to build up very quick and also break down. This pulse can induce a huge current in electronic equipment, causing damage in semiconductors.
The damage can be in any of the components in your Denon. It also could be only one semiconductor. FET's and MOS FET's are the most vulnerable.
Without a service manual, tools and the Denon on my desk it would be impossible to tell what is damaged.
But I would trust not any component in the player.

Denon c200 is not reading any CD's.

It is very possible that your Denon CD player needs to get the laser lens cleaned.

You can do it yourself taking the cover of and get to the laser lens and clean it.

Here is a site that shows you how to do:

or you can purchase a laser lens cleaner CD:

My remote for a denon 2805 doenn't seem to be working. When I try to change to say DVD it doesn't work. The CD button just lights up. I also have a Harmon remote that I have learned the commands on but...

Check on e-bay for a replacement, call Denon tech support and have them send you a new one, or buy you a universal remote and put in the code from their manual for your Denon receiver.

Denon 2802 amp

Dear Armani,

You cannot put de leads from an MP3 player or your TV into the pre-amplified connection of your Denon,
the phono "stage" is a low input stage, your input from MP3, TV, CD, DVD oscasetteplayer is high output (a 5 to 10 times stronger signal)
Try every other stage like tape 1 or 2, this will work just fine,

succes
