I just bought my dehumidifier. It says that when you first plug it in the green power light flashes till you hit the power button and then it stays solid green. Well, I hit every button and nothing. is always flashes. All I can do is turn it back off. when I turn it on again. it Flashes green again. nothing else happens
-   Was working fine for years, after power faillure, green light is flashing but can get it running with the on/off button. I've check the tank switch, everything look fine there. ...sorry about my english...
-   Plug in and the light just beeps. Everything checks out ok other than it wont run. Safety switch moves freely and takn is on correctly. Any ideas other than it stinks?-   Smellyboy
Check your tank. Remove it and look to be sure that there isn't any shipping foam or foreign objects in the area which may be keeping the safety switch open. If the area is clear check the switch to make sure that it is not stuck and it moves freely. If that is OK replace the tank and make sure that it is installed completely and correctly. Try it again. If it still does not work I would take it back to the store and have them check it out under the warranty. Good luck.

I purchased a Danby dehumidifier lastyear and it worked great for a while. Now after I empied the water the machine will keep running all night but there is no water in the tank. Am I missing something. Do I need to get it repaired?
