Question about Kenmore 23313 Whispertone Bagged Canister Vacuum
Your suspision may be correct especially if vac is well used/older however may i suggest you turn vac over and investigate by removing the brush cover plate? then you may see what problem is?this could be debri trapped in roller/brush housing? or the bearings/bushes at each end of bruch may be worne or even come loose from their seats whatever is causing the vibes i feel sure you will find on removal of the cover hope this helps/inspires you to diy good luck

You either need A new clutch or clutch belts need replacing.
Its a lot to describe so try this it has manuals on how to do the job.
