Drawer of cd burner will not open
This could be an issue with the drive itself.
You might want to consider replacing the drive, however, if you have a CD stuck in the drive or the drive doesn't seem to be getting enough power, etc...
Then you may want to try this.
1.) Unfold a small paper clip until it is straight. Any small, straight metal object will work but I find that paper clips work best.
2.) Look at the front of your ODD. You should see the button that normally opens the drive on the right hand side.
3.) Slightly to the left and above the button you should see a small hole (VERY small, like the size of a paper clip)
4.) CAREFULLY insert the paper clip in to the small hole. Push straight back until you feel the paper clip strike the mechanical release.
5.) This will open the ODD slightly, you may have to use your fingernails to open the drive the rest of the way.
