I have a similar problem with my Samsung on Vodafone, but the "emergency calls only" error message. Solution is to re-boot it by power off and on. Problem appears irregularly, but functions OK once re-booted. If this solves your problem, then I assume that the other error messages are simply the sort of behaviour associated with computers hanging etc.

My phone shows serial number "12345610654321?", its original serial number "359823010976423". it doesnt let me reset because it says code error. Your help is greatly appreciated.

It means your RPL/IMEI is corrupted, experience turn off the phone in a several minutes and can encounter errors in some functions. This is due to a wrong procedure of flashing or updating the phone firmware or wrong procedure on unlocking the phone network.Chances are,if the last person/technician ever back up the phone system data, possible to bring back the serial. If not, need an RPL service and this is available is some mobile service center.

I hav d nokia E63..! & i cannot send any msgs.....it says "memory full , close some applications first...(& i hav absolutely no applications on except messaging)...... before it said that...

hi, the memory might truly be full...check your memory status and see if truly it is full....if after checking, you realized that it is full, then you will have to delete some messages and delete some applications that you use less often..but, if you check your memory status and you realize you still have space, then it means you will have to scan for virus.
cheers

Hi graceann022,
Even I had same problem and getting the exact error message. Look for "SMS Service Center Numbers" with respect to your service provider(i.e O2, vodafone..etc) or you can call customer service might be they will provide the number.
Usually when you insert the SIM Card it should automatically take the settings. Anyways .. you can try your luck

When I send a text message, and error comes on the screen saying "unable to send message, invalid phone or message centre number, please check the number" i have the Samsung i450

You need to call your carrier to get your assigned message center number, write this information down. Now in order to change the Message Center Number on your phone you will need to go into your Network Settings, the message center number is usually near the forwarding number (for voicemail.)
