The manual just shows a picture and I'm afraid I'll bend the cover or break something inside in trying to remove the back cover.

I have a tracphone and i want to put that sims card in that motorola phone

The sim card slot is located under the battery. You have to remove the battery cover and remove the battery to find the sim card slot. Next to it there is a micro sd slot if you want to add extra memory to your phone.

How i will initialize my SIM card?Should i enter my SIM PIN number?

Hi

Remove the battery from your phone. Slide off the back cover of your phone to get to the battery. Gently lift the battery from its compartment to remove.

Insert the SIM card into your phone. Once your battery is removed, insert the SIM card into your phone. Look at the image on the phone to see how to insert the SIM card correctly. Make sure it is pushed all the way into place.

Replace the battery and turn on the phone. Replace the battery back into its compartment and replace the back cover. Turn on your Nokia 2610 phone, and it should boot up. The name of your wireless provider will appear when your phone is turned on.

Allow time for your phone to read the SIM card. Once your phone is booted up, it will say initializing. This means that it is reading your SIM card information. Once your SIM card is read, your phone will go to the home screen. Your SIM card is now activated, and you should be able to access all of your information.

Can someone please help me figure out whats rong with my phone......i can't make or recieve calls it says no service on the diplay and when i try making call it says call failed.

Do you have a valid Sim card in the phone? Is the SIM card inserted correctly? They really are easy to get in wrong. You have to look at the phone under good light where the SIM card goes, and you will see a notch which correlates to the notch on the SIM card. Put the SIM card in just as shown and put the battery back in, turn it on and it should satrt working.

Where is the memory card slot in moto rokr e6

On the left side. Along the music buttons. There's a slot there where you see a picture of a memory card. Remove that cover and that's where the slot is.

hi thanks for using fixya!!!

That's alright! There are two side release buttons that open the back cover. The SIM card holder is just above the battery, and you must remove the battery to insert or remove a SIM card.

Where to put the sim? how to open the phone cover?

I don't have much experience with this model, but you should e able to slide open the cover in the back off the device, remove the battery and there should be a slot for the sim card.

Hope this helps!

Screen turned white

Remove the back cover, Remove the battery, if the phone is GSM take the little card out of the back of phone by sliding the metal cover in proper direction. Should be arrows. Put the Sim card back in battery back in then turn phone on. If this doesn't work let me know. Main thing is reseating the sim card. (this assuming you a service provider that requires a sim card. )

Hi,

Initially, pls try to remove the battery. If that does not work, have the firmware updated. Sine this is not a user action, you would need to seek the services of a qualified professional.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
