Take out the battery and sim and let it dry out for a while. Sometimes the water doesn't affect it. Hope it works again.

I am assuming you cleared all the old water out and the drain is now clear. Dig out your manual and do a "factory reset" if you can't find it in the manual should be able to find it on line. Sort of starting over type of thing.

Whirlpool front load washer serial #CSR2903874, GHW-9150PWO plastic ring around drum suddenly started coming apart. Washer is level but waater is all in bottom of pedastal and floor.

Front loading washers have always been a pain from the first ones made by Westing house in the 1950s, now they have come back in style, and more complicated than ever, that means they are going to be expensive to repair. the pump went out on my son's in wisconsin ,$500 parts and labor, $100 more than a new no frills top loading washer costs new. we have had a Maytag top loader for 32 years and have replaced one belt.

Check the chamber under the white plastic valve, behind the brew unit, that might be blocked with coffee grounds.

Check the pressure switch tube for a tiny hole, pressure is not building up in it to send signal to stop fill and carry on with wash cycle.

Water does not stop at set level

My guess is the hose that is connected to the control for water height is clogged or has come disconnected. you have to take the top or front off to find the control and the hose.

Good luck.

Which positions of the handle divert waater

The 'stop' is opposite the direction the handle extension points, so in the picture shown with this post the port pointing left is closed and the ports facing down and right are open.
