If it's a vertical line in scanned pictures, it's probably a dust bunny on the scanner head, if it's only on printed pages, it's probably a dust bunny on or in the laser assembly or between the laser and the photosensitive drum. if cleaning doesn't get rid of it, you could have a defective scanner head or laser assembly, or a scratch on the photosensitive drum.

ithink it is a hard were pr oblem we should clean our printer time by time, there is many dust inside, they can make disattacment between sencer and parts ,so we get this information. open printer and also if u open drom and other part open , then blow air by air blower machin e.we solve more than 80% thise type case in our lab .
connect a phone with 4521 in the back side jack of phoneout,
for outgoing fax
place original in the adf or glass for fax
Press hookdial and dial your sending fax number in 4521 after number dialing pull the phone handset to ear when you leason fax tone from the dialing number press start button to send fax.
for incoming fax (in not automoated)
press hook dial and press start to receive
The darkest copy setting is obtained when the contrast is set to dark and the toner save is turned off. If the originals being copied are too light, this unit has trouble seeing the image and the copies are extremely light as well. If the originals are good and dark, try using original toner cartridges.
