Re: replacement filter pb assy
Have you tried jvc?
usually only certified service centers can get the parts through an account
or try an electronic parts supply store that might deal with them, though I have not found that they get stuff like that just the components

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.
Line, faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations by the above linked site. Look at it too. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent.
T'Con board fault. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

If you have sound the inverter board has failed,or one of the ccl lamps has died .when you switch on the powersupply sends power but on receiving a fault condition from either of the two faults above will shut down power to the inverter board.
Hello Look very close to the secreen, while a programme has been selected, and try to see whether there is any trace of picture, moving on the screen or not. If you can see any white shade traces of picure, be sure that the backlight is not woking. the main reason for this fault with be of backlight inverter board, which generates high voltage to CCFL tubes. If so, you have to replace the baacklight inverter board. If no traces of picture are there on screen; the T'Con [timing control] board is faulty, and should be replaced with same part number. OK.
This can be caused by either the FFC (Flat Flexible Connector) from the address board to the screen. There are a few of these connectors so you need to judge from the position on the screen as to which one is at fault. You need then to dismantle the main board to gain access & then remove the heatsink running along the bottom to gain access to the board, you need to carefully disconnect the cable & try to clean the contacts, then re-assemble. This can sometimes cure the problem, but I have had this fault a few times & have only been sucessfully a couple of times because inevitably the fault is internally within the screen itself & cannot be fixed. The only solution then is to replace the screen which can be costly I'm afraid.
Black bars to pink dots are all symptoms of the logic board failing. Samsung p/n# BN96-02042A and this isn't a repair for the novice.
The board itself contains many small smd caps that are the likely culprits. But the fine wire traces on this board make replacing the caps nearly impossible without some very sophisticated smd removal equipment and a magnifier that could double as a hubble telescope.
Most shops merely replace the board. They're about $180 plus shipping and core charges.
If you want to price it goto vance baldwin's site https://www.vancebaldwin.com and enter as a guest. Select parts and enter the part number above.
It's about 1-2 hour install and re-assemble barring any complications.
Find a reputable shop and take the unit in yourself. That will help keep the cost down, but expect that this one will cost in the neighborhood of $375 - $450 and could run higher if anything else is found wrong.
If you need some help finding a good shop try NESDA, National Electronic Service Dealer's Assn., for a member shop near you. http://www.nesda.com/locator/state_search.php
