Got a Dongle yesterday on the 3 network, but I keep getting "error 619 connection failed" when I try to get internet access. There is plenty of signal and it reads that the modem is valid. Where do I go from here ?

The WIFi dongle maybe loose or has lost its settings.
Make sure it has a good line of sight to the router and is not hidden behind the TV.
You can set up the settings manually
.The other thing which may help is to go into TV menus under network and change from 'manual' and use your own details;
Try these settings;
IP - 192.168.1.100
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.1
DNS - 220.127.116.11
Why have you two routers connected to the same network?
1. TL-MR3020 Portable Wireless N Router
2. Three ZTE MF730M dongle (router).
The problem is the router does not know which route to choose, so remove one of them and it should stop dropping out.

Wireless routers connect computers to a network without the need for network cables.
Wireless routers are used to connect computers into a network without running network cables throughout your home or office. Netgear wireless router settings must be changed using the router's Web-based interface. Any computer that is "hard wired" with a network cable to the router, rather than on a wireless connection, can be used to access the router. From the Settings menu, options such as "Encryption," "Network setup details" and "Passwords" can be customized.
On a computer that is connected to the router with a network cable, open any Web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. In the address bar, type "192.168.0.1" (without the quotes) and press "Enter." This will bring up the login prompt for most Netgear wireless routers. If that doesn't work, try "www.routerlogin.net", "192.168.0.5", or "10.1.10.1" until the login window appears.
Type "admin" in the Username field, type "password" in the Password field and click "OK." If the password fails, try "1234," "Password" with a capital "P" or "admin". Once you enter the proper credentials, the settings screen will open.
Make any required changes to the settings. Under Security section, it is possible to specify a new username and password for added security. Once you have saved your changes, close the window, and the system will automatically log you out.
plug the usb modem into usb slot of pc as normal. Bridge the connection between the internet connection and ethernet router connection in network page. Set router to ip add etc and it should share net access while pc is turned on atleast.
i am using reliance net connect broadband..it is working well on the computer.. but yesterday i bought a new laptop and when i tried to use net..it is showing the 718 error..that the system did not respond in the limited time...i uninstalled it and installed it twice! but i still cannot connect it! plz help..
not sure if the 1800hg is the issue log into the router and turn off the encryption temporarily then try to connect the ipod. if the router connects double check your encryption key. if not or it connects for a second and then drops may be the internal security for the router stopping the connection you may have to call 2wire to help you turn off some of the security to keep the ipod connected.
1st. What brand and model # of your router?
2. The router cd should be run only on the computer u have connected to the router with a network cable. Your vista laptop. Is it connected with to the router with a cable?
3. If so, it will be the one used to configure your router for wireless setup. When you ran the setup it should have gone thru Wireless Setup. It will ask you for an SSID. That is a name you will give your wirless network. It can be anything you want. just remember it.
It will also ask you to setup security for your wireless network. follow the instructions to setup a password. write it down. This is an important step so anyone cannot just logon to your wireless signal an start using ur internet connection or gain access to your computers.
4. when u setup your dongle on your kids computer it will search for wireless signals in the area. you will look for the one u setup in the previeous step. you will select it and it should ask you for the passkey you setup. once connected you will have access to the internet.
Think of your router as a private radio station and the wireless usb dongle is the radio. The only way your computers can tune to it is using the dongle and if you know the name of the station (your SSID) and the passkey.
Please check you LAN settings on your router (DNS) - usually it is 0.0.0.0 (assigned by provider)
Make sure your PC is using DHCP (TCP/IP properties -> Obtain IP Address Automatically & Obtain DNS server address automatically). Try "ipconfig /all" at others computers and compare with your PC (look at gateway & DNS). See if you can ping gateway and then outside address.
p.s. To access your router open Internet Explorer and enter http://192.168.0.1/
If it is not working, check the default gateway address on working computer and use it instead.
Hi, at first you have to get into both PC's network cards settings > properties of network adapters, select Internet protocol TCP/IP and click on properties - make sure the adapter is set to get the IP address and DNS details automatically.Then get into the routers admin website in web browser (I think 192.168.0.1) while connected to router. Find the option DHCP and select it to enable. Save the settings and try to reconnect with both laptops again and it should work.
