How to clean Ricoh Aficio MP 2000

I need to know how to manually clean the printer heads on a Ricoh MP 2000. The printer is adding long black bars down the side of every page when it prints. Could anyone help?

Sounds like either drum blade has fail or drum is bad. try printing the counter report and see if it is doing this. Then photo conductor unit needs to be rebuilt or replace. open right side door and look at drum make sure you don't touch it and see if toner is on it. If so drum blade has fail. call a tech or buy new photo conductor unit. this are good for approx 60,000 copies but sometimes will go longer age also play with drum blade life. were you might have 20,000 copies but unit is 5 years old

you must clean developer and drum section. after that you must put new developer and initialize it. After that place in correct toner.

Adding developer to the new ricoh aficio mp 1500

Are you a tech? I suspect not. You need to remove the drum unit, disassemble, separate the drum from the development unit. Remove cover of developer unit, add developer, reassemble, and run SP2214 to calibrate.
This is NOT a procedure to be performed by an end user...no disrespect intended.
