My camera doesnt turn on - Cameras

    i have the same problem.
    Today i copied pictures to my computer via USB. and left camera on ter for about 20 minutes.. and saw camera sudden off. I thought battery drained off and re chared battery. But still... Camera not turning on.

Usually a low battery problem unless you dropped it, then something is loose and needs to be repaired.

Try another fully charged battery first of all. It might be a poor or damaged connection.
If another battery doesnt work, then its the camera.
If the camera doesnt come on the mother board is damaged. You will have to have the manufacturer change it out. Might be expensive

Emprex DSC5100Z camera doesnt turn on.


Here are the steps:

1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged

battery/batteries into your camera.

2. Clean the battery contacts.

a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from

your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft,

clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera

3. Without the memory card,turn on your camera.

have u changed he batteries , that may help an dont use the cheep ones from the buck store they dont enough engery to turn the whole thing on.

Check the memory card try to turn on the camera without the memory card if that works problem with the memory card if that doesnt work...... Try using a diffrent set of batteries...... Still doesnt work...... Get the camera replaced..... Good Luck....
