Yes you would need a driver for your Platronics headset if you intend to connect it to your PC

Could you please describe the model of your plantronic headset so that i can get the required drivers for you.

Have you got that particular headset enabled in audio settings.

If you are talking about Skype: click Tools - Option -Audio Settings- Microphone then the down arrow at the extreme right of the mic name box, select your mic if it's name is in the drop down menu.-- scroll down and click Save. then test it.

I am new to skype and don't seem to have a microphone installed in my laptop...is that possible?

You can purchase an external mic. (if you are in a budget // cost is about $10)
I recommend you to spend few dollars more and get the USB type headset. ~$49

Hi, I am using Platronics Audi 655 DSP headsets for use with flight sim 9. My operating system is Windows 7. I prefer to have the mic sound turned up so that I can hear my voice through the headset...

The computer headsets do not have sidetone in them, so you won't hear yourself talking into the microphone. There is no way to override this.

I hooked it up to my ps3 but i can't hear any volume from the game. i ahve an adapter. the mic works but i just can't hear anything

Per Plantronics the Gamecom 367 headset is not compatible with the ps3. Plantronics did say the Gamecom 777 will work with the ps3. Please see the link below for the Gamecom 777.

Yes, After pairing while in game play you have to press the PS on the controller- settings/accessory settings/audio device settings.

NOTE: put the mic level on 3. find 220plantronics then OK!

James, plug the phone cord that comes out of the back of the CS55 base into the handset port of the Cisco phone, not the headset port. Then plug the coily cord from the cisco receiver into the front of the CS55. Don't use the "Headset" button on your Cisco phone, just lift the receiver off.
