Please check that the driver you have downloaded is from the page linked below and that you have chosen the correct 32 or 64 bit version. and can you please specify if you are connecting the printer via a usb cable or accessing it via the network?

To install Windows XP you first need a bootable Windows XP Disc or an ISO image. Using that you can boot your windows and install the operating system.

Once you get your bootable Disc or boot from the disc and follow the onscreen instructions to install the windows xp operating system. Make sure that you have all the data of yours backed up and you have a geniune windows xp product key.

once your operating system is intalled, connect the data card and insert the cd that came along with the datacard to install the drivers and the software. incase you did not get a cd, or you dont have one, please visit the site of the datacard manufacturer and download an appropriate drivers and software and install them. This should get your data card up and running.

Yes, install the latest driver from Datacard.com and check your sizing and layout are compatible with card size. If fails save your img as a jpg and use the datacard softwarte

I have been having the same problem. I was told that the 4-d software is not compatible with Windows 7.

This site has "utilities". They run under different levels of Windows, back to w2000. Grab the one that is right for your system and install it. It should guide you through the firmware (available from the same page) installation.

You can't - the Cleaning Card supplied with the replacement ribbons is for other models of the Datacard printer, not the SP35 Plus :(

Make sure you have the driver available. Then click on the "add a device" under the hardware and sound tab. Windows should start looking for connected devices and find the Datacard. Then when it starts to install it windows will ask for the driver location. Now the problem is windows 7 is so new that there might not be a driver available for it to run the datacard and the windows xp driver might not work. So also check the manufacturer's website for a updated driver.

Installing printers seems to be a problem after installing Service Pack 3. You might be best doing it from the Control Panel - printers and Faxes - Add Printer. It took me several attempts to get it installed.

you just installed first the Quickworks which is the software of that printer then there you have to create a photo card and it has built in database.
