Cannot transfer video clips from FujiPix A 340 camera

Thanks for suggestion, but the main problem is not viewing the clip, but how can you initially transfer the video from the camera to the pc. I hope I have been clear now. In other words when I connect the usb cable to camera and to pc only photos are transferred, video clips are not.

Hi I cannot transfer a large avi file from my Fuji S6500 fd to a pc, neither via finepixViewer nor via windows explorer (I use a usb cable). Please suggest.

    Man, same problem. "(

I connect my fujifilm finepix camera, & a program comes up to upload photos, not videos.

Only the photos show up as files available for transfer to my computer, but no videos are shown.

    I tried both suggestions

But its the same problem, only photos, no videos, show up for availability to transfer.

    Thanks. ")

Click on menu goto setup option 3 the top you will see "USB mode" Change that from what looks like a printer to what looks like a card. Your camera will show up as a drive and not as a scanner. Cheers

I have the same problem as mentioned by 'chal'. I did what you requested by opening it through explorer to see the camera as an external drive, but I don't see the movie files there. They are on my camera though! Please help!!

Hi chal There is an " add a comment " link at the bottom of the page. please use it next time, because it's better to see the whole history together and not just the latest part. chal wrote " Any one please help. When I try to transfer video clips taken by my A340 fujipix camera to my pc i get the message no pictures can be found. I have no difficulty to transfer photos but not videos. I have Windows XP with service packs 1 and 2 installed. Thanks for any suggestions. " dovi answered: "Movies shot on FUJI's digital cameras are recorded in Motion JPEG format and can be played back using QuickTime version 3.0 or later. Let us know if it fix your problem,or you need for more help. Good luck !!" Now I try: What are you using to access the pictures? from what I understand the software is looking only for pictures. Try to open it through explorer. Do you see your camera as an external drive under "my computer" when connected? good. Now right click on it and choose "explore", and send us a comment if you see the files there or not. Then all you have to do is copy paste. Good luck!

Help how do i run my movie clip on my coolpix. thanks bill

go to view your photos saved on your sd card... when you reach the movie clip, press the play button. the up and down might control the volume as well.
alternatively, please take the sd card out and use a card reader and transfer to pc all photos and videos.. then you can view it from the computer.

I cannot see and play video clips transfered from canon camera

First off get the arcsoft media converter 3, then drag and drop the videos you want to get on your mp3 player into the program, after it converts it loads them onto your mp3 player as long as it?s connected, this program will also allow you to download YouTube videos and put them on your mp3 player too

I have a sony dsc-s500 digital camera I can't figure out how to play back video's. Does it actually have the feature to record?

DSC-S500 can record short movie clip with sound and you can playback it on camera and can transfer that movie clip to PC
Check below jog-dial mark to set camera to record movie clip.

To playback, set camera to Playback.
Need further info, let me know.
Thanks.

Nikon s51 can't transfer video from camera to comptuer

Try removing the memory card and insert it into a USB card reader and connect it to the computer to read/copy the images/video files.
You should format your memory card using the camera functions before you take the next lot of pictures and videos.

Make sure you're using a program that recognizes video files. iPhoto, for example, doesn't. iMovie does.
