The purpose of downloading applications is to install it to your computer, it will not automatically install itself unless it's a virus.

better contact the dealer where you got the pc.

Things they don't tell you

When installing the newest version of Adobe Flash Player, it will NOT automatically uninstall the old version.

If the old version is still there, the new version will not install.

Fun stuff, huh?

Use the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller tool.

Go down to -
1. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player,
and click on the blue - uninstaller (674KB)

A small window will come up on the Right -
Opening uninstall_flash_player.exe
Click on Save File.

Another small window will come up on the left. (Download window)
After the file has fully downloaded, DOUBLE-click on it.
Click on Next, Next, and Finish.

Run the tool.
When finished restart your computer if not asked to do so.
Now go here,

i have never heard of this software program before. i would recommend that you uninstall(and if you really want, reinstall) it. to uninstall go to the control panel (select classic view) and double click add/remove programs (called programs & features in vista) scroll down till you find the program, select it, and then click add/remove.

Norton Antivirus 2008 purchased 4th July 2008 Order No.1644036072 £29.99. Confirmed paid on my Bank Statement. Can't Download. Need help as I keep getting reminders and I am not sure if I am covered.

No, even if you completed the purchase the antivirus is not active yet. You should have received, in the email used for the order, a link to the download, and a registration number.
Download the install program from the link and if required use the reg. number.
If you cannot find the email with the link check in spam mail, and in trash bin.
If you still cannot install the update, proceed from here to contact Symatech regarding your order, tell you cannot find the download, they will send a new one.
After installing the antivirus, you will need to connect to the internet to validate installation.

Uninstalling

Hi denka;
I did encounter this problem before and in order to un-install it, you must first re-install it, but unfortunately, since you no longer have the cd, you might want to just leave it there, because deleting the folder will not remove everything but if in case you really wanted to you can try these steps here:

Look for the rct3 gold folder on your C:\ProgramFiles\
delete the folder, delete the shortcuts in your desktop and in your "all programs" then install a free registry cleaner CCleaner,
here is the link
http://www.ccleaner.com/download and run it, it will remove all useless registry and applications,,,,,

not sure if it would 100% remove everything though but worth a try.hope it helps.

I just purchased Norton 360 2.0 CD to install in my computer. Three hours later - not installed. I have AVG 8.0 that continues to pop up when I initiate the Norton installation, installation tben stops...

Yes you need to uninstall any and all antivirus programs installed on your computer. After uninstalling, make sure to reboot your computer. Do that for each antivirus or internet security software you have installed. Once done, it Norton 360 should install. If you have troubles uninstalling AVG, check their support area on their website. I'm not sure if you have a paid version or the free version but here are the sites for both.

Paid - http://www.grisoft.com/ww.support

Hope this helps! : )
