Question about Microsoft Outlook 2003 for PC

Forgotten Windows Live Password

I have had an account with windows live for a couple years and have had the same password for the whole time.a friend of mine had his account hacked the day i thought it would be a good idea to change it.
and the next day i go to sign on and like a twit, i had completely forggotten the password. i tried going through the reset password steps on
and it gets to this point where it asks if id like to go through id validation or send to an alternate email. well when i made my account two years ago i didnt think about the fact that i might forget my password. so i didnt have an alternate email. so i chose id validation. i put my name, my state, zip code. and then the anwser to my secret question. best childhood friend. well due to the fact that im still technically still in my childhood, i guessed all the people that im attending high school with. no dice. tried everybody i even talked to in middle school. no dice. everybody i knew from elementary school. no dice. everybody i dug in a sandbox with. you guessed it. still no luck. so i call the people at microsoft. and i talk to the machine for about 30 minutes. then it puts me on the phone with a fellow. im glad to hear a human being again. he is very kind and understanding. but he then proceeds to walk me through the reset password steps. i knew how to do this. and he just told me how to do what i already knew. i told him this. and he had me send an email to them. saying my name, andress. and pretty much everything that could verify my identity. and then he hangs up after it sends. i get an email a week later.(btw my msn account is just for msn and xbox live) {i use yahoo for communication via email} i get an email on my yahoo account, telling me who i was, and then it just gives me the steps on how to do the reset password thing,(which was the exact same thing the guy on the phone walked me through) is there any solution to my problem besides getting a new account. ill accept and try any suggestions.

I guess there's no way to do it since that's the only thing they can do to verify who you really are.
even if you email them several times the most convenient is forget that account, and get a new account.

they will not do special arrangement either since they are accommodating millions of customers.

Is this a problem with live or yahoo >???
When you sign up for a free Yahoo! account, you gain access to the extensive features of the Yahoo! community and receive a free email account.
As with any account, it is a wise idea to change your Yahoo! password a few times a year in order to ensure its security.
Knowing where to go in Yahoo! to change your password will allow you to do it quickly.

Sign into your Yahoo! email account.
Click on your Yahoo! name at the top of the webpage to access drop-down options.
Select the "Profile" option.
Your account page will open.
Place your cursor over "Account Info" in the toolbar.
Options will again drop down.
Click "Change Password."
Type in your current Yahoo! email password in the first text box.
Enter your new Yahoo! password in the lower two text boxes.
Click "Save."
Your Yahoo! password is now changed.

Microsoft will sometimes block your Windows Live Hotmail account if the company suspects you have a compromised or hacked account or if you have incorrectly entered your password multiple times when logging in. If Microsoft has blocked your Hotmail account, you can unblock your account by resetting your password.

MSN Messenger (now called "Windows Live Messenger") uses an email address as a use ID and a password. You may be able to retrieve those from any computer you used to access MSN Messenger.

MSNLivePasswordDecryptor by SecurityXploded

Download a
nd install. The program will display the user name (email address) and password for any MSN/Windows Live account on the computer, and stored by any type of program (MSN Messenger, web browser)..

If you think you know your user ID for MSN/Windows Live, you can ask Microsoft to reset the password for the account:

How do I recover a lost Hotmail password If I can't even remember the birth date that I used for that account?

There are two ways you can proceed.

One, you can ask Microsoft to reset the password for the account:

Or you may be able to retrieve the password from the computer's browser (if you have accessed Hotmail from that computer). You can do that with some free software:
MSNLivePasswordDecryptor by SecurityXploded
Download the program at , and then install. The program will display the user name (email address) and password for any MSN/Windows Live account (including a Hotmail account).

If you use Firefox as your web browser, it's much easier to retrieve a stored password. Just go to Tools > Options > Security > Saved Passwords > Show Passwords
