Is there a water resivior/catch under the TFR22PR refridgerator?

Water is collecting in the bottom of my refridgerator. I cleaned it out and cannot detect any leakage. How do I locate the collection resivior?

    Tresilla,

Thank you, I do believe it has worked. I thought that I had to find the drip pan underneath the refrigerator.

Towards the bottom inside the fridge, you will find a gulley with a drain in the middle. this drain is blocked. push something flexible down the drain till water flows away freely

Water collecting under produce bin which has to be collected every couple of days.Amana model # TX21VE 7.74 amps

Your drain is clogged. Every time it defrosts the water from the defrost should drain out to a catch basin under the ice box. That drain is clogged. You need to access the drain and clear it.

Water is collecting at the bottom. Where is it

Refrigerators have a defrost water drain that carries water produced during the defrost cycle to the bottom of the refrigerator where it flows into a catch pan. The water is then evaporated by heat from the compressor and refrigerant coils.

Something is likely blocked in your drain system. There is usually a catch basin in the rear of the refrigerator behind the inside lining. From that catch basin, water flows into tubes which usually run down the back of the refrigerator. The drain in the catch basin may be stopped up, or the tube itself could be blocked.

Water drains from freezer compartment into refridgerator

If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me
