Cannot put songs onto mp3 player

I plug the player into a usb and then go to Windows media player and sync the songs over. Then I safely disconnect and my mp3 player says no songs.

ok when you go on Windows media Player first you need to go to Limewire and put songs on an MP3 playlist and then save it.Next you go to Windows media Player and press copy to CD or device and then you go to file at the top and press add to media library then press add file or playlist then you go to program files and press limewire and theres your playlist that you saved. Then you click and it will come on your items to copy ok

its not about syncing it i have tried draging files direct and using sync and it still says no songs found reformated quick and full still same problem brother said you have to have winmedia 9 or below going to try this on win2k at work tmrw and ill post if works

rip cds using windows media, sync over to mp3 player mp3 always says no file however if i plug it in to the computer again it displays on the computer screen the songs stored on the mp3 player.
