2003 Ford Explorer How do I replace the Blend

every vehicle has climate control, you may not have a/c. does not matter if it is a cable, vacuum or electronic system,in order to change the blend door you will need to remove the Dash and the climate control assembly. This is a job for an expert only and not recommended to try oneself.

2002 ford explorer battery died and after jump start it will not start due to something with the security system... the doors lock and unlock and the car makes this loud clicking noise

Sounds like the battery cables need to be cleaned and or maybe thebattery is getting ready to die. Clean the battery terminals then charge the battery. If the terminals get real corroded it is usually indicated by the clicking sound you have described. Hop it helps and good luck.

Alarm goes off on own

ok this could be a easy fix i had the same problem in my 02 eddie bower explorer there is 2 switches in each door one tells the computer the door is open the other tells the computer to turn on the interior light so if you notice the door ajar light come on or your interior lights stay on for a prolonged period of time then this is for sure your problem this can also be your problem if the switches are just starting to go bad they will randomly pop in and out trust me this is what happened to me the switches are unfortunatly located inside the door now (i miss the door pin switch's) but they are still easy and very inexpensive to replace check your local auto parts store for the do not go to ford as they will charge you an arm and a leg :) good luck my friend

We just had a new motor in are 1997 ford explorer but without the code for the door locks which never came with it the security code is the problem we had after someone tried to slim jim my door and sent...

If you are referring to the keyless entry code, for the door key pad then you can find the code as follows: Remove the windshield defroster vent, to do this start in the middle and pry up using a knife or flat blade screw driver. Stand outside the vehicle and look through the passenger side windshield, in the hole that is now visible you will see a plastic box with a label on the top, you should be able to see the word FORWARD on the label, using a flashlight, look to the far end of the label, there will be a 5 digit code, this is your keyless entry code.

When i lock the doors on a 2002 ford explorer about thirty minutes or so the alarm sounds. even if not activated. the only way it doesnt is when i leave it unlocked. any suggestions?

Check to see if when the alarm goes off if the interior lights are lit. Ford's have a problem at times with the door pinswitch in the door latch leaving the interior lights on, or coming on unexpectedly. Is this a factory installed alarm? WD40 sprayed into the latch will sometimes fix this problem.

Alarm

When you use the manual lock switch on the vehicle you should see and hear the locks pick. When you use your remote you should also see the same results. If the drivers door does not respond with either you have a bad solenoid on the drivers door.
