Question about Vga (CAT5-1000S/R) (EXTCAT51000)
I would like to use my laptops dvd player and watch it on the TV using a vga cord
Well you can't. You can, however use the S-video to S-video connections or S-video to composite (RCA jacks) connectors and bingo! Knowing what laptop you have would have made my answer more direct as a 20 year old 50lb laptop might have a connector of a different kind like a VGA 15 pin connector with a bunch of DIP switches that will work for an Apple or a PC but my crystal ball shows a modern laptop with an S-video output connector. ~Steve
